Finding new-build social rental housing
New social-rent homes enter the market through different projects, but allocation follows the advertisement’s conditions. A construction announcement is not yet an invitation to apply for a home.

Follow the correct route
Woonbron states that Stadshart Hoogvliet homes will be advertised through Woonnet Rijnmond and that project applications are not yet open. The municipality also requires Woonnet registration for StartR, sometimes alongside registration with the relevant landlord. Always establish which registrations the specific project requires.
Prepare a complete response
Keep household and contact details current. Read each advertisement’s income conditions, permitted household size, priorities and allocation method. Registration time is not necessarily the only criterion for every offer. Store supporting documents securely and submit them only through the official process. Also check whether the home suits your practical needs and total budget.
Check before deciding
- Keep your registration current.
- Read every advertisement condition.
- Check the official response deadline.
Official sources
